Building Closed Until April 6

The CDC, the state of Missouri, and Webster County have handed down ordinances prohibiting the gathering of more than 10 people to combat the transmission of COVID-19.

Because of these ordinances, the elders have met today and for the safety of our church family, they have decided that for the next three weeks, we will not have any public services. However, with the technology we have, we will be meeting via Facebook live and Zoom at 10:00am on the Lord’s day and at 7:00pm on Wednesday nights. Josh will be leading the services, so please tune in and let’s worship together.

We have the elements for the Lord’s Supper available, if you are not able to get them yourself. Each of our elders has a supply at their homes, so if you need the elements, please contact them and we will make sure you have what you need to worship and partake of the Lord’s supper.

This decision has been made with a heavy heart. We love our church family and we look forward to being able to meet together again. The elders will revisit this decision as the Webster county ordinances are set to expire April 6. Let’s all pray that this virus will be gotten under control and we can resume meeting together again soon!

These are extenuating circumstances and while we may not be meeting together at this time, let’s remember we are required to worship our Lord upon the first day of the week. While we may not be meeting corporately at this time, technology will allow us to continue to meet nonetheless, so please make it a point to be with us. Also, we need to remember that while we may not be meeting together for the time being, we still have a responsibility to the church. Please continue to make your contributions or “lay by in store” until we meet again. You may mail your contribution to P.O. Box 286, Fordland, MO 65652, and your contribution will be put in the plate on Sunday.. Or, if you wish, you can make other arrangements.

On Wednesdays, we will also have a Bible study at 7:00pm on Facebook live. Please join us for that Bible study as well. If you have any questions, please contact one of the elders. If you need anything at the building, you can contact Randy Owens and he will be happy to meet you there. Remember, we love you and there’s not a thing you can do about it!
